Poštovani članovi HDUVRA HLZ-a, cijenjeni kolege i prijatelji Hrvatsko društvo za ultrazvukom vođenu regionalnu anesteziju Hrvatskog liječničkog zbora (HDUVRA HLZ-a) u suradnji s Odjelom za zdravstvene studije Sveučilišta u Zadru i Odjelom za anesteziologiju, reanimatologiju i intenzivnu medicinu OB Zadar u srpnju 2025. godine, imati će čast što će ih posjetiti svjetski poznati znanstvenik, anesteziolog Prof dr sc Tong Joo Gan iz Houstona, sa Sveučilišta u Teksasu US (University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, poveznica: Tong Joo (TJ) Gan | MD Anderson Cancer Center).
Dolazak Prof Gana u Zadar je priznanje hrvatskoj anesteziologiji i poticaj mladim kolegama da uče od najboljih. To je ujedno promidžba naše Hrvatske u svijetu. Tim povodom Hrvatsko društvo za ultrazvukom vođenu regionalnu anesteziju Hrvatskog liječničkog zbora HDUVRA-HLZ priprema organizaciju "1. Zadarski anesteziološki simpozij s međunarodnim sudjelovanjem" 11.-13. srpnja 2025. u Zadru. Vodeća tema ovoga kongresa će biti “Najnovija dostignuća u regionalnoj anesteziji”.
Prof TJ Gan i drugi uvaženi kolege iz Hrvatske i inozemstva (Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo, Ukrajina, Australija, Švicarska, Sjedinjene Američke Države …) će održati pozvana predavanja iz područja perioperacijske medicine što je od iznimnog znanstvenog i stručnog interesa kako za anesteziologe i intenziviste, tako i specijaliste drugih specijalnosti.
Znanstveni članci prezenzirani na ovom skupu biti će nakon međunarodne recenzije tiskani u Croatian Medical Journal, najbolje indeksiranom hrvatskom časopisu iz biomedicine i zdravstva kojom prilikom će Prof Gan, Prof. Šimurina i Doc. Župčić biti gosti urednici tematskog broja. Svi radovi predloženi za objavu u Croatian Medical Journal trebaju se urediti za objavu do kraja veljače 2025 prema uputama za autore.
U pismu uredniku treba navesti da su radovi predviđeni za objavu u tematskom broju 3 istoimenog časopisa te se može predložiti do 3 recezenta s kojima zadnjih 5 godina niste objavili zajedničke radove.

Esteemed members, dear colleagues and friends!
The Croatian Association for the Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia of the Croatian Medical Association, the Department for Medical Studies of the University of Zadar and the Department of Anesthesiology, Reanimatology and Intensive Care of the General Hospital of Zadar are honored to announce that in July 2025 they will welcome the world renowned scholar and anesthesiologist Prof.Dr.Tong Joo Gan from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, USA.
The arrival of Professor Gan in Zadar is a sign of recognition of the Croatian anesthesiology and a stimulus to our young colleagues to learn from the best. It is simultaneously a promotion of Croatia in the world.
On this occasion, the Croatian Association for the Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia of the Croatian Medical Association will organize the First Zadar Anesthesiology Symposium with International Participation, which will take place in Zadar from 11 to 13 July 2025.
The key topic of the Symposium will be the state-of-art achievements in the
regional anesthesiology.
Professor TJ Gan and other esteemed colleagues from Croatia and abroad (UK, Ukraine, Australia, Switzerland, Slovenia, USA) will deliver lectures on preoperative medicine, which is of extraordinary scientific and professional interest to both the anesthesiologists and intensive care medical specialists and the specialists of other medical disciplines.
Following international peer-reviews, the scholarly articles presented in the Symposium will be published in the Croatian Medical Journal, the Croatian journal of biomedicine and healthcare with high ranking index. The guest editors will be Professor Gan, Professor Šimurina and Assistant Professor Župčić. All articles accepted for the publishing in the Croatian Medical Journal should be edited by the end of February 2025 in compliance with the guide notes for the authors. The letter to the editor must read that the articles are planned for the thematic issue 3 and should name up to three reviewers with whom the author have not co-authored any article over the previous five years.
